We are a 300 plus member association with a 12 member board of directors that organizes 25 golf tournaments from May thru September.
MWSGA is registered with the State of WA as a non-profit association and bonded.

$50.00 per year

Membership is $50.00 per year. All board positions are voluntary with no pay. Dues are used for administrative expenditures but most of the dues are added back into the prize fund.

Competition

All of our events are 2 person. Scrambles and Best Ball make up the majority of the games.
Three divisions bases on team handicap. Sign ups are open about 2 weeks before event date.

No. Although a few of our members do play events with the same partner, the large majority play with different partners on different weeks. We have a great network for pairing up members with similar handicaps.

We also publish a membership directory with members names and contact information so that you can arrange partnering with other members.

Greens fees, cart and taxes are usually about $55.00. Many stops on the tour are priced below that amount. We negotiate prices with some of the golf clubs for reduced tournament fees but many just charge the daily rate. It cost $10.00 per player to enter our competition. We pay back 100% of the entry plus money is added from the bank account to fatten the pot. We pay 6 spots in each division - three gross and six net in each division. We also have KP prizes of good value in each division and a door prize for each tournament.

How do I get an application form?

Members must 50 years of age or older and have a USGA handicap from the GHIN network. We need this for posting your best ball scores and verifying your updated handicap.
